“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
– Steve Jobs (1955 – 2011)
Steve Jobs probably wasn’t the easiest person to be around. He’s not someone I particularly look up to nor is the Apple line of products stuff I’m a big fan of, but his success and knack for innovation shouldn’t just be ignored. He knew how to get stuff done – and not just in any conventional way either. Maybe he could be considered a Thomas Edison successor: talented innovator and asshole businessman. Today would have been his 61st birthday. Happy Anniversary of your birth, Mr. Jobs.
