The statement is certainly true, but I think it’s better to say that we are thinking about the wrong things. Like how Starbucks made a cup without snowflakes, rather than the fact that people are starving in other countries or how genocide is happening somewhere on this planet.

True true. We are thinking furiously about so many things – with so much information bombarding us everyday, how could we not? But, like you said, our priorities are all flipped around.
